Logitech G433 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset Review

Logitech G433 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset

Headsets are becoming increasingly popular.  The Logitech G433 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset is Logitech’s latest release into these booming market.

Logitech G433 Packaging

The packaging of tech products is incredible.  This holds true for the Logitech G433.  The box contains the headset, a microphone, instructions, a selection of cables for various audio set-ups, some spare ear pads and a case.  All is colour coordinated and really well presented.  So far I’ve been using it and then packing it back up into the box.  It all fits in simply and keeps all the various bits and pieces together.  The included material case is fantastic, other headsets I’ve had have had a hard case but I far prefer this soft one.

Logitech G433 Comfort

The Logitech G433 is fairly light given the high quality of the of sound.  The ear pads are large and soft.  They cancel out most background noise.  Personally I prefer to hear a little of the world around me whilst playing so this suited me fine.  In my opinion headsets are not all that comfortable for long play sessions but I was surprised by the G433’s.  Their weight and the material of the ear pads make them very comfy to wear.

Logitech G433 Sound quality

The Logitech G433 is advertised as a 7.1 Surround Sound Headset.  It is also advertised as suitable for PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One and Mobile.  This is all true however anyone buying this should be aware that 7.1 Surround Sound only works with a PC, all other devices simply work in stereo.  With this in mind I could only really strongly recommend this headset confidently to PC gamers.  If all you have is a console this is simply a stereo wired headset, for the price I would suggest looking else.

Having said this the sound quality is fantastic both in 7.1 Surround Sound and in Stereo.  I just tried it out on the headset on the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Beta this weekend and it sounded absolutely stunning.  Admittedly Battlefront 2 does sound great but through the Logitech G433s it really did impress me.
